STORIED NOTIONS
This new series is inspired by some of my favorite childhood books and the personal connections I made with those stories. Each sculpture holds memories and is crafted with the retrospective discovery that in spite of the difficulties I faced in my early years due to dyslexia and related learning disorders, reading took a role in ultimately shaping me.

THE WILD THINGS
I was a pretty mischievous and resourceful kid, often creating my own wild rumpus around the house with crazy "inventions" and "art sculptures" I made. Needless to say, I identified with Max and often imagined myself setting sail to an island where I could live with creatures that wanted to be imaginatively wild all the time. |  Storied Notions No. 1:
