About the Artist
Elijah Kell is a glass artist from Mint Hill, North Carolina. His artistic journey began at the age of ten when he was first introduced to the medium and found an instant connection. Since then, he has spent the last eight years immersed in the art of glass, developing his craft through self-study and experimentation. As a dyslexic, imagery plays a huge role in his life and he loves bringing a wide range of design ideas into color, texture and form.

In addition to glass works permanently installed at two premier hotels in uptown Charlotte, Elijah has numerous private and corporate commissions across the Carolinas, as well as nationally and internationally. He is dedicated to giving back to the community and is proud to partner with Arts For Life, a North Carolina nonprofit bringing the transformative power of art to pediatric patients in hospitals and treatment clinics. He also regularly donates his work to support charitable causes making a difference in Charlotte and beyond.
Elijah is a recent high school graduate and an artist-entrepreneur at heart, having officially launched Kell Glass LLC in March 2023. His primary gallery space, Kell Glass Gallery, is located near uptown Charlotte, and he is also proud to be represented by Juelerye Artisan Gallery in Mooresville, NC, where his work is sold to collectors nationwide. As he continues to further his artistic development and grow his business, Elijah is also excited to serve in a part-time role as Gallery Assistant for the Gorelick Galleries across the campuses of Central Piedmont Community College.
Elijah's future plans include pursuing a degree in art history, and he hopes to one day open his own gallery specializing in fine craft.
